It’s getting cold in San Francisco, darkness descends upon us before the work day is over, and we’re a week away from stuffing our faces with turkey and pumpkin pie. The holiday season is here, and nobody is embracing the spirit of sharing and gift-giving more than us here at VOO!  With less sunlight to explore the world by, we’ve been stuck inside, working hard to bring you a better experience. A new and improved VOO will be released in a few months, but we wanted to give our Voozers something to play with for the holidays. Without further ado, I’d like to announce that VOO is taking a foray into the amazing, addicting, world-dominating social network Facebook.

We are working on a Facebook application called PhotoVoo, to which you’ll be uploading your best photographs before you can say “Happy New Year!” The premise of PhotoVoo is the same as our mother-site, VOO, but with photos only, and a lot more quick-n-easy user interactions. Photos will be added, photos will be liked, and you will win awards! To make this application the cat’s pajamas, we’ve added 3 new members to our crew. Currently, we’re brainstorming creative ideas for our achievement system, and I’ll be posting weekly updates to let you know how that and everything else is going.

On a much less festive note, our former blog master and member of the “Marketing Mafia”, Aayesha, is no longer with us, as she’s moved back to her beloved Bean-town. She will be missed here at the VOO office, but she seems to be happy back in Boston, enjoying unseasonable warmth and beef stew (a factoid you would already know if you followed @Aayesha on Twitter!). 

I hope everyone is looking forward to our Facebook application, PhotoVoo, and we’d like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! Food comas for all!
